3. Compress & Download
Each page is rendered as an image and re-encoded as JPEG into a new PDF. Text search will no longer work in the output.

Why is text search unavailable after compression?
To reduce file size, each page is converted to an image, which removes text information. If you need a searchable PDF, this tool is not suitable.
How much smaller will the file get?
Image-heavy or scanned PDFs can shrink 60–80%. Text-heavy ones typically see 10–30% reduction. Already-compressed PDFs may show less improvement.
Do password-protected PDFs work?
No. Please unlock the PDF first before using this tool.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens inside your browser.
What is the maximum file size?
Up to 100 MB works reliably. Memory usage increases with page count.
